Joshua,I am curious, have ever looked into your family history especially the Conkel line? I have worked on it for years.don’t know how you would be connected,if at all.Genealogy is a hobby that has loasted over 30 years with me now.I grew up in southern Ohio in the U.S.A. and am always curious when I come across a Conkel.My mother is a Conkel.I don’t concentrate on going back beyond the 1700’s,and like to make late 1700’s my limit.I have not much faith in the data going back earlier.I am wonder if you have any information on your Conkel line you would be willing to share.Sincerely,Steve Webb
Hi there. Actually, I have, although the truth is I have no relation to the last name Conkel by blood. It’s long story, but Conkel was the surname of my brother and sister’s father, I have the last name because my mother did when she conceived me with my bio dad (not a Conkel.)
